At Restoration Outreach Programs (ROP) Youth Ministries‘ Ignite, middle school teens and pre-teens get together to spend time with each other, participate in group games, and learn more about God.
On Wednesday night, from 6:00 to 8:00pm, the middle school youth in the area come to play games together, get to know each other, snack on some food, hear God’s word, and have discussions about how the Bible applies to their lives. The youth who come to Ignite have become a family, and look to each other as a support system to help them through difficult situations.
We look to connect our students with loving adult mentors to help them make good choices. There are so many negative influences in their neighborhoods, it can be tough for our kids to rise above them. Through these mentoring relationships, we desire to see our students make healthy decisions that will help them academically and grow spiritually.
Volunteers commit to come from 6 pm to 9pm, one night a week. Yet also have the opportunity to go on special trips with the youth to share bonding experiences!
