Vicki Ekberg, lovingly known as Ms. V to the kids and teens, is a Colorado native who has lived in several places all over the country. Vicki moved back to Colorado with her family in the late 1970’s. For about four years of her childhood, Vicki actually lived in the community that she serves today. Vicki comes from four generations of preachers and missionaries and has always had a heart to assist those who are fighting for a better life other than a life on the streets.
While working full time, Vicki Ekberg earned an Associates Degree in English at the Community College of Aurora, along with some businesses courses, to build her past career. Vicki has worked her way up to management positions in ‘Corporate America’ but has never forgotten how far the Lord brought her away from Colfax. Vicki fought for and won both an intimate relationship with Christ and a better life.
Vicki has served with Prodigal as a volunteer since July 2002, and on staff since September 2006. Called of God to work with inner city teens initially, Vicki has grown into duties that include mentoring her staff, interns, and alumni teens, as well as, directing small groups and volunteers in mission trips and outreaches with Prodigal and Restoration Outreach Programs. Vicki is in awe of the healing God brings, as she has followed His call for her to become a missionary in service for the pleasure of Christ.
Most recently, God has been encouraging her to trust Him and step out to do more public speaking in sharing Prodigal’s ministry and God’s heart for marginalize inner city youth. She is excited to be a small part of Prodigal history, and is looking forward to learning all God has for her here in the years to come.

Angelina, the Prodigal Club House director, is married to husband, JJ, and gave birth to their first child, Daniel on 4/23/09. Born and raised on the east coast, Angelina moved to Boulder, CO in 1999, where she got her degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She hasn’t returned to the bitter-cold winters or humid summers since. It was in college that Angelina accepted Christ as her savior.
After graduation in 2004 Angelina moved to Oregon for a reporting job with Gannett Newspapers and took a leadership role in a high school ministry in Salem. Angelina has also lived in East Africa on two occasions for studies and documentary work.
Angelina has enjoyed serving with Prodigal Gatherings since the winter of 2006. God unexpectedly called her to the Club House director position in April 2007. Angelina has been trained in early childhood development, urban children’s ministry, and enjoys putting the right side of her brain to use with craft activities and God-honoring lessons for the 5 through 12-year-olds that she works with. Angelina is proud to be a part of Prodigal Gatherings, which has touched so many Aurora children. She is looking forward to a long stint with Prodigal, loving on children who seek compassion, truth and hugs.
Deb Henry
Coffee House Director
DebH@RestorationOutreachPrograms.org
303-344-4219
Deb grew up in New Jersey and has since slowly made her way out west. She accepted Christ into her life at a very young age and through the influence and encouragement of many mentors and church family continued to grow in her faith and discipleship. During a missions trip to Peru God called her into full time ministry.
Deb attended Valley Forge Christian College in PA in pursuit of a youth ministry degree, but in 2003 experienced a family tragedy that changed the direction of her life. Deciding not to return to college right away, she became involved in a discipleship ministry until returning to school at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago for a BA in Bible.
After completing an internship with ROP summer of 2008 she has returned as the Coffee House Director for Prodigal. Her heart and passion is to communicate the gospel and to display the worth and love of Christ. Her desire is for poor, abused, and abandoned youth to know that their worth lies at the foot of the cross. She is excited for this new journey and grateful to be a part of such an incredible ministry!
