Impact (high school)
Our Impact program is a safe place for teens to be loved and heard. Teens come and gather together with other teens, volunteers, and staff in a family like environment. Volunteers and staff demonstrate the love of Christ through intentional listening, mentoring, and coming alongside our teens. The majority of the teens that attend have experienced gang violence, forms of abuse, and poverty. The end of each night is a time where we meet together in a group setting to talk about God and different issues or topics of the teen’s choosing.
Impact meets two nights a week from 6:30-8:30 ~ Tuesday is “Family Night” for teens who have been coming for over a month. This is a night where we have an opportunity to go deeper with the teens through discussion and one on one mentoring. Thursday, or “Guest Night,” is for newer teens or guests to get acquainted with other teens and volunteers and make connections before attending both nights.
